Children and Families
Kids are the present as well as the future of the church, and we want to do all we can to support our families and children as they grow in life and faith.
Church is family
We want to invest in children and families. Every week we have a large play area in our main Sunday services with toys and playmats which enables parents of young children to engage in the whole service. There is also a supervised creche in an alternative room each Sunday during the second part of the service for under 5s.
For primary school aged children we have Children’s Church each Sunday (after our time of worship all together) which is all about fun, learning about Jesus, and working out how to follow him better.
With an increasing number of young families around, there's an increasing amount going on as well. Come and join this growing (if slightly exhausted) community as they meet outside of Sunday services as well. There's a group for parents every second Friday morning, and a once a month social time for families at our centre in Forest Hill. Find out more by visiting us on a Sunday or by emailing the office at info@foresthill.cc
The safety of children and families is a non-negotiable for us as a church. You can find out more about our safeguarding team and policy in our 'About Us' page or simply ask if you have any questions.
